Government Authority located in Kansas City, Missouri; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for 24/7 nurse triage and telemedicine services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide 24/7 workers’ compensation nurse triage combined with telemedicine services as a pre-claim activity to the government authority located in Kansas City, MO.
• Average minimum wait time to telephone connection with triage nurse of not greater than two minutes
• Use of state-of-the art triage software and algorithms to assess the injury
• Referring injured workers to client-designated medical providers
• The electronic transfer of intake data to populate a state-specific first report of injury
• Recording the intake communication with the injured worker and being able to either electronically transfer a wave recording file to the client or permit the client to access a central database that captures the recording
• Ability to electronically email the incident report to the client’s pre-established distribution, and the medical provider, in real time
• Ability to generate monthly reports that delineate a breakdown of calls by:
 o Day of week
 o Time of Day
 o Job Classification
 o Outcome
  ▪ Self-care
  ▪ Office visit
  ▪ Urgent Care
  ▪ Emergency Department
 o Body Part
• Generation of a health ticket or similar locally created form. Faxing in real time to referred medical provider and copied to injured worker. Design customization of the form must be permitted by client. • Calling providers to schedule an appointment or notifying emergency department, urgent care, or occupational clinic of in-coming patient.
• Permitting injured worker follow-up calls
• The ability, in real time, to hand-off or interface with a physician (occupational medicine preferred)
to further evaluate the injured worker.
• The ability of the licensed telemedicine physician to prescribe medications
• Ensuring personal identifiable information is protected in all Internet communications (Cyber security).
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than January 11, 2019.
(3) Contract term will be three years.
